2016 title and One Little Word pocket pages.

HELLO! Well, so far for 2016, I am doing 1 million times better than last year with my Project Life album, and created my very first new year title page! Woooot! I also created a pocket page for my One Little Word for 2016 and wanted to share both of these with you today.

I have several goals when it comes to scrapbooking this year: 1) use lots of quotes and also lyrics from my favorite bands 2) scrapbook what is inspiring me at the moment 3) KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) and create using my style, whatever that may be, and 4) use my stash.  I sooo love this quote when I found it on Pinterest, and it's a great reminder to keep the past in the past and only focus on today and the future.  I used similar colors that I used for my Pocket Your Year January project.
I'll probably share the deets of the choosing of my One Little Word (OLW) in another post, but here is my {also very first} One Little Word page!!  I'm super super in love with how this came out!  I used the bright colors of Shimelle's True Stories collection (one of my FAVS!!) and was able to incorporate some photos I took in January in this page.  I included another quote (!) and also used my new Lawn Fawn alphabet stamp set (my first alphabet stamp set!  This is going to get completely overused this year!)  One of the techniques that I've been doing alot of is printing on Project Life cards.  It looks freaking awesome and is a great way to use my printer (since I quit printing photos at home).
Both of these pocket pages I LOVE LOVE LOVE.  I've been enjoying creating so much the month of January and completed 6 pages this month!  Oh yeah!!!  There's so many new things I'm trying and doing and I really hope this continues throughout 2016.
How is documenting your 2016 going?
xoxo
