I know, crickets and dust bunnies around here, right?!  October was such a crazy month I didn't have one minute to even think about my blog.  If it wasn't for my amazing husband, pretty sure I'd be bald from pulling my hair out!  All in one month, I was in a wedding for the first time, enjoyed good beer and friends at Oktoberfest (also a first), saw Aaron Carter perform (don't ask), took a road trip to Michigan, toured the Chicago Blackhawks locker room (!!!), and dressed up as a minion.  whew!  I can't make this stuff up!  I did manage to steal a few minutes to cuddle with Alex, lay in bed past my alarm, and snuggle my face in doggie and bunny fur.

This hasn't left much free time for crafting and I'm feeling like I'm in a bit of a rut.  I feel like the longer you're away, the harder it is to get back into it.  Am I right?  I have to admit I was a bit relieved when Heather and I made the {mutual} decision to put Just Two Midwest Girls on hold.  (Don't worry, there's other stuff in the works!)  Been spending some time trying to figure out what the heck it is I even want to create.  This has been a struggle for a while now, so if I figure it out, I'll make sure to pass the good word along.  Currently, I'm giving Project Life another shot, so we'll see how that goes.

Here's me and the mister in my brother-in-law's wedding at the beginning of October.  Not gonna lie: my husband is seriously HOT in a tux!  He gave me butterflies!  This was the first time in 7 1/2 years of being with him that I saw him in a tux. Sooo dreamy!  The wedding photos are beautiful and I can't wait to have some printed and displaying in every available frame around our home!

And I'm not ashamed to admit at all that I'm really enjoying the few holiday commercials on t.v.  I'm totally THAT girl that wants to put up her Christmas tree, like, tomorrow.  No Christmas songs yet though.  Not quite ready for that!
