Practical Scrappers Blog Hop-Scrapping Our Stash!

Hello dearies!  Welcome to the Practical Scrappers Blog Hop, where we are featuring projects using our stash!  (We all have tons of stash, so it's the perfect inspiration!)  If this is your first time hopping along, here's the deets: every month, the girls at Practical Scrappers have a blog hop using their stash.  Most of the designers have giveaways on their blog too, so make sure you hop along!

You should have arrived here from the amazing Bobbi's blog.  If this is your first stop or you get lost along the way, head over to the Practical Scrappers blog for the full hop list.  (If you are reading this via e-mail, please open in your browser).

For this month's projects, I definitely wanted to break into some more of my kits and use 'em up.  I have tons of kits that I need to use and they are often my go-to when I'm short on time.  These two cards were created using My Mind's Eye Hip Hooray {Girl} kit.  The colors are super fun for birthdays and make me want to throw a huge party!

For both of my cards, I drew inspiration from cards I pinned on Pinterest.  I'm always pinning beautiful things on Pinterest, so it is my go-to for inspiration.  This card was perfect to re-create!

I used a little spray mist on the die cut tag and popped it up.  The stars below the sentiment are actually rub-ons from an old American Crafts pack and I added a sequin and bling for some detail.  I switched out the twine from the original design for some zig-zag stitching!

This second card was inspired by this pretty card.  I tried my new Heidi Swapp spray mist template with some white acrylic paint and also used some circle stitching on this card.  It was my first time using this stitch and I loved how it turned out!  I really loved the circles on the original card, so I kept that design on my card also!  I also used another rub-on, a cupcake!.

Your next stop on the list is my amazing friend, Lisa's, blog to see what goodness she created.  Totally love her designs!  Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope I inspired you to use your stash AND get inspired by some of your pins on Pinterest!

xoxo,
Kelster Jean
