Thoughts on Citrus Twist Kits.

Saturday, November 23, 2013

Good morning dearies!  Happy Saturday!!!  (Did you have a chance to check out my first YouTube video?  It features our 'Kill a Kit' challenge and the Citrus Twist September Main kit.  Check it out here.)  This morning, I wanted to drop in and share with you my thoughts on the Citrus Twist kits so far.  I have received three kits so far: September's Magical kit, October's Celebrates kit, and November's Darling kit.  So far, I have only played with {most of} the contents of the September kit, but have the October and November kits waiting.  I wanted to share with you some thoughts on the Citrus Twist kits so far.

I signed up for a 3-month subscription to Citrus Twist (hereinafter referred to as 'CT.')  The 3 main reasons I chose to give the CT kits a try are: 1) It was one of the most affordable kits on the market 2)  Instead of themed-kits each month (i.e. thankful-themed in November,  Christmas-themed in December, etc.), the kits feature products you can use for your everyday life scrapbooking, and 3) the colors featured in the kits are my "choice colors" for scrapbooking, so I was really drawn to that.

I signed up for a 3-month subscription, which costs $32.50 per kit (plus shipping and handling which was about $7.95).  You can also sign up for a 6-month kit, which is $30.50 plus S&H or purchase a single kit, which is $35.00 per kit (I believe this varies month to month).  They also have a Project Life monthly kit, which costs less than the scrapbook kits (depending on your term of kits).  Above is the Project Life September kit, which cost $20.  (I have not purchased a Project Life kit).

CT also offers a variety of add-on kits each month.  Above is the 4 add-on kits for September.  They feature extra product that can go along with your main kit and vary in price.  The prices for the above kits were: Top left: $25.50, top right: $18.50, bottom left: $3.00, and bottom right: $7.95  (plus shipping and handling).  (I have not purchased any add-on kits as of yet, although I have drooled over them quite a bit!)

Overall, if you are looking for an affordable kit and a way to receive some new product each month, this is a great way to go!  It is affordable, the products are very pretty and trendy, and you receive quite a bit of product for your money.  (PLEASE NOTE: I am not being compensated for my thoughts on and opinions on this monthly kit, nor am I a part of the CT design team and/or receiving free products.  These are my true thoughts and opinions).
