My Blessings-November Practical Scrappers Sketch

Hi dearies.  Happy Friday!  I hope you had a wonderful week.  And it's almost over!  Woot!  Today at Practical Scrappers, we are sharing the November sketch and we're sharing Thanksgiving-themed layouts!  November is all about being thankful.  I have definitely been tapping into my inner thankful and its been inspiring my last few scrapbook layouts.  For this layout, I decided to feature my blessings.

I really wanted to scrapbook some of the most recent photos of our dear furry children: Murphy and Maria.  I can't even begin to express my love for them.  They are my heart, soul, and life.  They end all of my bad days as soon as I get home, and they are great snugglers.  (As I write this, I'm petting Murphy on the floor with my foot).  Sometimes I remember how old our little Murphy is: nearly 12-years!  And some days, his age really shows.  It's really hard not to think that one day he will no longer be here to be my cuddle buddy.  But I try my hardest to just enjoy every little moment with them I can.

I loved that the sketch featured three banners.  I sewed the tiniest banners in three different lengths.  The pennants were originally stickers, but I fussy-cut them while they were still attached to the sticker sheet, then sewed them and adhered them.  I really loved that the stitching came out messy too, so I haphazardly adhered them to my layout.

I'm still enjoying working my way through my stash.  The kit I have been continuing to use is Lilybee Designs (Autumn Spice).  The ribbon and half cut flower above is both from my stash.  And I loved the "My Blessings" sticker from the moment I saw it and knew it was the title of my layout.  I really just love how it turned out.

Nothing bunny-related is complete without my dear Martha Stewart bunny punch.  I punched two bunnies each and layered them.  These bunny punches are my signature on any bunny-related project.  I just love my bunnies!  And here is the sketch for you to play along with.
