A few weeks ago at Practical Scrappers, we shared Pinterest-inspired projects. Some of the girls chose literal projects to inspire them (i.e. banners, wreaths, etc.) while others chose a simple picture or drawing to inspire them. I came across this post from Paislee Press sharing their new photo templates and loved the layout. I'm always looking for design ideas, so this one served as the perfect design for my "Fall" layout.
The photos from this "Fall" layout where taken a few years ago by my sister, Kristy. Her and I went to a local forest preserve to take some impromptu fall leaves photos. I really loved how all of them turned out! It was so fun taking these photos! And I have been so enjoying this older collection by Lilybee Designs called Autumn Spice. My dear friend, Melissa, gifted it to me and I have been using it for most of my fall memories.
The swirl of leaves stamp above is one of my favorite stamps ever! It is from a Unity collection that I purchased on Craig's list. It always add the little extra touch that I need. I also added stickers from Jenny Bowlin Studios (the hexagon) and a die cut from the October Elle's Studio monthly kit (the pie chart hexagon). I really love how this layout turned out, although I do think if I would have used a solid background paper, it would have helped my layout truly pop! (I really do use solid papers as my background most of the time).
