December Daily kit reveal (photo heavy).

Hello dearies!  I hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving!  My hubby and I had a nice, low-key Thanksgiving and it easily topped our favorite holiday memories.  I will be sharing some of our photos soon.  In the meantime, today I wanted to share with you the kit I am using for my December Daily 2013.

This year, I decided to use the Christmas Daily kit by Citrus Twist for my December Daily album 2013.  After reviewing lots of the kits and collections out there (see my post here), I decided to order the Citrus Twist kit because a) I really loved the colors and products featured in the kit, b) It was a good price for everything in the kit, and c) it shipped free with my November Citrust Twist kit (and I like free!).

Product List:
  • Paper:
    • 12x12 pages: Webster's Pages (Alison Kreft): Reindeer Flight, All is Bright, Silent Night; Studio Calico (Magical): Oh Tannenbaum, Making a List, Magical Kraft Gold Star;  Echo Park (Reflections): North Pole; Teresa Collins (Santa's List): Chevron; Cardstock: white, caramel, fireberry, grass, mustard.
    • 6x6 pad (half a stack): Glitz Designs (Hello Christmas).

  • Embellishments:
    • Alphabet stickers and words:  American Crafts: red glitter Thickers; Chic Tags (Good Tidings): metallic gold alpha stickers; Glitz Designs (Hello Christmas): Alphas/word stickers and accent stickers;
    • All other: Citrust Twist exclusives: wood chips, flair, and sequins; Webster's Pages (Alison Kreft): "Dear Santa" envelope; Studio Calico (Magical): Die Cut Speech Bubbles; Glitz Designs (Hello Christmas): giant rhinestone stickers; Prima: crochet doilies and bark stars; Doodlebug: enamel sprinkle dots; Chic Tags (Good Tidings): clear tags; Theresa Collins (Santa's List): chipboard decorative buttons; gold washi tape.

Album:

For my album, I am using the Dear Lizzy Memorology Album that I purchased through the Citrus Twist store.  After seeing this example from Elizabeth Kartcher, I knew this JUST HAD to be the album I used.  I wanted to use an album with page protectors because last year's album became so fat so quickly and almost came off of its binding.  Although the colors don't exactly match the red and greens in the Christmas kit, I know I can make it work.

I just love all of the transparencies, canvas pages, chipboard pages, and (especially) the spray misted page in this album.  The album measures 6x9.  I cannot wait to fill it with my December memories.  I also think I will be following along with this free class from Simple Scrapper.  Won't you join me?
xoxo,
Kelster Jean
PS: Tomorrow I will be sharing the completed cover of my December Daily album.  Make sure you come on back!
