A Weekend Meet-Up, By Chance!

Tuesday, November 19, 2013

This weekend I met up with some of my girlfriends to scrapbook.  I really needed some scrapbook therapy after the last few weeks.  It was a rainy day on Saturday and perfect for a scrappy date.  We met at a local Archiver's  Here's some photos of us from the crop.

It was an extra special treat because I got to meet Christine, the coordinator of Practical Scrappers!!!  This is the first time we've met.  I must admit, after deciding to take a break from Practical Scrappers, I was a little nervous when I found out she was going.  Would she be mad at me?  Needless to see, the meet-up was a blessing in disguise.  Her and I got  chance to chat and I'm happy to say I'll most likely be returning to Practical Scrappers at the beginning of next year.  She is such an amazing person and I am so happy to have her as a friend.

Here's a few sneaks of what I was working on Saturday night.  I was hoping to have my December album kit in time to work on that, but sadly, no.  (I did get it last night though!)  Did I tell you that I signed up for a 3-month subscription to Citrus Twist kits?  These sneaks are using the September kit.  I must say, I am totally loving the products so far.  They aren't holiday-themed as much as moment-themed.  They are perfect for your every day moments.  I will share more details in another post and will be sharing these full layouts on Thursday.  Come back and check them out!
