Snapshots from our weekend.

Okay, so maybe, just maybe, it's Friday Eve and I am sharing my photos from LAST weekend.  In my defense...I have no defense, so let's just look at some photos.

Last weekend, I attended the wedding of my dear cousin and her new husband.  I love going to weddings because not only is it a HAPPY occasion to get together and see family that you may not have seen in a long time, but also because you are in the presence of true love and it is so magical.  It is such a happy time and everyone is smiling and overjoyed and it's one big celebration.  The bride and groom (above) are just too cute and we had tons of fun taking photos in the photo booth.  (I couldn't choose just one!).  The wedding was held at a country club and was decorated so beautifully.  We took so many photos of our familia together.  The photo above is of my Grandpa and his siblings.  I do believe this is the first time in months and months that they have been all together.  (I also took the sweetest photo of my Grandpa and his brother chatting and laughing.  I can't wait to scrap it!)

The rest of the weekend was spent relaxing and spending time with my little family.  I love the photo above of my hubby laying on the couch.  The sun peeked through the blinds and rested on his face.  So beautiful.  I loved capturing this photo as this is our everyday and how our life is: simple and sweet.  We also enjoyed our (rather unhealthy) tradition of donuts on a Sunday morning.  We haven't done this in a while, so it was nice to cheat on our healthy eating for a bit.  And speaking of sunshine, our dear Murphy loves laying in the sunshine.  We're pretty sure he loves feeling the warmth on his bones.  He's getting to be an old man and it's sad seeing all of his gray hair.  But he is still the sweetest thing around and I love running after that little bunny tail.  We're also trying to enjoy the last warm days in the Midwest, and have been grilling nonstop.  Hubby made strip steaks (above) that were AMAZING!!!!

And finally, the colors of AUTUMN!!!  The leaves are starting to turn and it is so beautiful.  This is our view from the patio.  Just on the other side of the trees is a very busy route and "city life."  I love that we have a little groves of trees around us that tucks us away from people.  It's like our own little treehouse.  Have you been enjoying any signs of fall?
