Remember to stop and smell the flowers (Ten Things: Premade Flowers)

Hi dearies!

A whole week has gone by since I have posted.  Why oh why is summer so busy?!  This week, I'm hopping in to share with you our Ten Things product for Practical Scrappers.  It is premade flowers!!  I must confess.  There was a time when I loved premade flowers sooo much.  I bought them by the jar full and stared at their prettiness all day.  I used them on everything from layouts to cards to hair accessories.  Even on my calendar!  I loved flowers!!!  Then I met my hubby and his rock-and-roll style rubbed off on me.  Now, it's all about dark colors and being messy.  It's a good thing something like a design team challenge comes along to force me to use all the flowers that are still sitting unused in jars on my desk....

Products used: cardstock, paint, floss, burlap, flowers: Prima, letter stickers: American Crafts, Authentique, Lillybee Designs, Basicgrey, die cut (always): Slice by Making Memories. maybe I went a little lot overboard on the flowers...but can I just say: I used tons and tons of flowers.  And any way I can get my stash out of my room and onto paper is a good thing.

This stitching was waaayyy time consuming (I like using lots of letters to describe how much it was!) but I am so happy I did it because the end result was oh-so eye appealing.  I love it oh-so much and it is oh-so pretty.  And lots of other oh-so's.  And what girl doesn't love a good sunburst every now and then?

And I used a bunch of different letter stickers for my title, which is pretty awesome too.  This layout was all about being a reminder.  A reminder to STOP and smell the flowers, appreciate the little things, smile and laugh, enjoy life, breath, and love.  I like these kind of layouts that remind me to do something (especially with my forgetful memory!)
