Take Me Away...To That Empty Apartment....

Please tell me I'm not the only one that remembers this song by Yellowcard....
Well, it is over!  The hubby and I and our dear fuzzies finished our last load on Monday evening.  After 4 straight days of morning-to-night packing and moving, we were extremely happy to say goodbye to our old home and into our new beautiful home!  Even though there are boxes everywhere, I could care less because we are home!!

Before we moved in all of our crap, I snapped a few photos of our new home on my cellular.  So, please enjoy your tour!

There's our front door.  I really love that the hallway outside our door is on the inside and shares with our neighbor, so no carrying groceries outside!  There is our beautiful kitchen!!!  I just love it so much.  If you read my blog regularly, you know I don't cook ...at all.  But I've already baked two batches of cookies in here, so I'm pretty proud of myself.  The cabinets are super tall, but they're so pretty, I don't even care.  And we have a dishwasher and a gas stove.  That is the greatest luxuries to me.

A breakfast bar.  Fancy us!  I've already been using it nonstop to browse aimlessly on the interest.  There's our living room and patio also.  To the right is our "study" a/k/a the scraproom.  The study will be the sophisticated name.

Here is a up-closer look at the study and our little "dining room" that fits our bar-height kitchen table just perfectly.  I love all the fans and lights in the apartment.  They're silver and so pretty!

Here's the bedroom.  A little small but still good.  (See the fan?!)  Pretty soon, we'll have a brand new bed in there.  Can't wait!

I couldn't resist taking a photo of the washer and dryer.  It's a full load and in its own laundry room.  Score!!!  And we've already used it and it works great.

And finally our bathroom.  I know its weird to take photos of a bathroom, but its such a pretty bathroom!  It has the nicest, largest, mirror that is perfect for photo taking.  And its so much larger than our old one.

I can't wait to share how our apartment looks after its decorated and pretty!  Speaking of pretty, we received the prettiest flowers from our new neighbor, who is oh-so-sweet.

Be back soon with some crafty posts!

xoxo,
Kelster Jean
