Currently Loving...9 to 5

As crafters, we tend to hoard products that we love.  You know what I'm talking about...those favorite embellishments that sit in the jar looking pretty, or that paper you just had to have but still haven't used one inch of it yet.  Or that washi tape that is amazingly pretty but still a complete roll.  Yep, that's me.

In case I haven't expressed it before, I have a pretty non-existent budget when it comes to crafting.  There is little to no room for me to purchase new products.  In the scrapbooking world, that makes things kinda difficult.  Aren't we always receiving new emails about the latest products just released from CHA or talking with other scrappers who said they just have to have it.  If it ever seems like I am using the latest name brand products, let me tell you, I'm not.

Somehow, at the end of last year, I became a super lucky gal.  I received the best Secret Santa who spoiled me with gifts.  One of the collections I have been completely drooling over for months and months now is the October Afternoon 9 to 5 collection.  My daytime job is a legal secretary.  For me, that meant every piece of this collection was perfect for me: the phones, the Post-It notes, the ledgers, the paperclips, the typewriter, (okay maybe not the typewriter anymore, but so what).  I was so drawn to this collection when it first came out and wanted every piece of it!!!!  So, of course, I was beyond excited when I received a kit full of 9 to 5 goodies.

Yep.  I'm pretty much in love....can you tell?  This collection is perfect for me!!!  (And I'm so proud of myself that I'm using it and not just drooling over how pretty it is!)  I also used Mr. Huey spray mist in Hot-Dog-Orange on both of these projects and  let me tell you, it goes perfectly with this collection.  I bought the hot-dog color on a whim and have only used it once or twice.  (I'm just not an orange person), but I do really love the way it looks on these papers.

What collection is your all time favorite?

Hugs,
Kelster Jean

PS: Loving the layouts above?  The layout was created using the January Sketch-It-Out sketch at Club Creating Keepsakes and the card was created using the Practical Scrappers February card sketch.  You should check them out.  I loved both of these sketches so much!

  1. Love your projects. And I'm so glad you are getting to play with this collection! I agree, it fits you perfectly! :) I really like the orange spray mist. I didn't notice it at first, but I like how subtle it is! Fab card and layout! :)
