A Rockin' Card

Hello dearies!  Happy February 1st!  My how the time has flown already.  Didn't we just celebrate New Years?!  Before we know it, half the year will be over, and I'm not looking forward to that.  I really need to look for ways to slow down time.  Hmm....

Anywho, just dropping by this morning to share with you a quick card (and also to wish you a happy Friday and complain about how fast time goes....).

Products used: white cardstock: Hobby Lobby; patterned paper: Prima Marketing Inc. (Rock On Love); music paper strip and "May all your dreams come true!" tag: Elle's Studio; washi tape: The Plaid Barn; spray mist: Tattered Angels; heart and swirl bling: received in a swap; flower stamp: Michael's (?).

This card was created fairly easily using this sketch from Elle's Studio.  Have you ever created a card using an inspired layout or layout sketch?  It's kinda fun to think about how to substitute the photos!  (And I'm a nerd that would get excited about that).  A few products you definitely need to check out if you haven't already:
  • Elle's Studio tagsLast year for Black Friday, I purchased a grab bag full of Elle's Studio tags.  I also was lucky enough to win their Summer Mini Album workshop and their Celebrate December prize pack.  (I'm usually not that lucky so I have no idea how that happened!)  They have tags of all kinds and they are perfect for anything from journaling to using as an embellie.  You definitely have to check them out.
  • The Plaid Barn.  I really love this website.  They offer daily deals and they are not just scrapbook-related!  Sometimes its jewelry, sometimes its other crafty things!  And they are at great prices!  I have purchased quite a few things from them, including the above washi tape (in several colors), library cards, mini chalkboard signs, and much more.  If you're not a crafter who is not product-specific, this is a great place to check out for some little goodies.
Hope you have a great weekend!  It's chilly here, so I'll be bundled up in my blankets most of the weekend until we have to go out.
