I hope you had a chance to hop over to Practical Scrappers last week to check out Ten Things you could do with felt (my first Design Team post!) In case you missed it, you can check out the post: here. This week, I am so excited to share with you my project for the "Ten Things you can do with tags." Who seriously doesn't have tags lying around all over your scrap area? I know I do. I have tons of tags: tags I cut from my Slice, tags I couldn't resist in the Michael's or Target dollar bins, tags that I found at garage sales. Tags....everywhere! So what to do with all those tags? Here's one idea:
Here is what the tags looked like before I got ahold of them. They were the most gorgeous kraft tags off of an equally gorgeous pair of corduroys I purchased at the thrift store.
And here they are after! I created two birthday tags using the oh-so-yummy October Afternoon Cakewalk Collection. I am so in love with how they turned out and I can't wait to give these babies out to someone.
For this tag, I traced, cut, and adhered patterned paper to the tag. Next I fussy-cut four little banner flags from one of the patterned paper sheets and adhered them. Wrap some twine around the tag, and add a line of pretty layered stickers and brads all in a row and you are finished!
Now you can easily have two gorgeous tags to give away for birthdays! Make sure to hop on over to Practical Scrappers to check out the rest of the ideas using tags! Thanks for stopping by.
