Even though Thanksgiving was yesterday, I usually celebrate being thankful all season long. I really should celebrate it all year, but its acknowledged mostly during the holiday season. This year I have been bursting with thankfulness. It is the greatest feeling in the world to realize how thankful you are, isn't it? It makes me tear up with happiness (excuse my sappiness).
This year, my brother is spending Thanksgiving at boot camp in Fort Benning, Georgia. I miss him so much, but he will be home soon for the Christmas holidays. I can't wait! To remind him that we're still thinking of him, I sent him this card. Of course it won't get there on time, but it's the thought that counts right?
Products: brown and off-white cardstock, stamps: Unity; brown tulle; color pencils; adhesive.
I'll be back in a few days with my Thanksgiving recap. It was simple and sweet and truly the best Thanksgiving ever.
PS: One of the best Thanksgiving presents? My brother was allowed to turn his phone back on for the day to call his family. It was my first time talking to him since he left! My heart is happy!
