Celebrating 35 Years of Marriage

Let's celebrate 35 years of marriage!!  No, not me and Alex.  At the end of last month, Alex's parents celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary.  I think putting up with someone every day for 35 years straight is a pretty amazing feat.  That deserves to be celebrated majorly.  While I don't think they did (much of) anything special for their anniversary, I wanted to let them know just how special they are to me and how much I look up to them as parents and as a couple.  So, I created this extra-special card for them.

 {Products: cardstock-Recollections; patterned paper-Stella Rose by My Mind's Eye; "35" numbers-craft supply; alphabet stickers-Lily Bee Designs; "happy anniversary" sentiment-Slice by Making Memories; vellum quote sentiment: craft supply (not sure on the brand); other: doily, needle, thread, pen}

And, just to share, here is a photo of Alex's parents from last April.  When looking at this photo, I can just see the super-cool and in-ove hippie couple they once were when they married.

xoxo,
Kelster Jean

PS: This card is participating in The Focal Point Challenge at Moxie Fab World.  Thanks for looking!

And, you are right, I can totally see that they were an awesome in-love hippie couple! (I mean that in only the nicest way!)
