Sometimes scrapbooking can be so formal. You pull out all the supplies that you want to use, grab your photos, figure out your form, put it all together, etc etc etc. Don't you just wish you could have a quick book to throw some everyday goodies in that doesn't take all of that? Well, here it is!!!!!!!!!!!

Presenting the Smash book by K&Company. I first discovered this amazing idea on a blog that featured new products shown off at the CHA Convention. I thought this idea was amazing and couldn't wait for it to come out. So, a couple weeks ago, when I received an email from Archiver's entitled "Smash is here! See it at Archiver's!" I was ecstatic. I hurried up and called my sister Kristy to gab all about it, then hauled ass very first thing in the morning to pick up three books for my sisters and I at Archiver's.

These books are simply perfect for anyone that wants a pretty or cool journal to throw their everyday memories in, keepsakes from their kids, things that inspire them, receipts, birthday cards, anything! Each book is designed with different pages to fit your style. You don't have to be a scrapbooker or paper crafter to use this book. That's why I love it! It's for anyone!

Each book has a different design. The styles that Archiver's had were:
-mod style, -doodle style, -pretty style, -retro style.
Above is the "Retro Style" which was definitely for my sister Kristy's style. She plans to use her book for things that inspire her.

My book is {of course!} the Pretty style, which reflects my style of scrapbooking. I want my book for the everyday memories, the moments that are our life, but moments that people sometimes forget. I plan on putting tags, stickers, receipts, mini photos of my family, etc in my book. These moments take my breath away and get me through each day.

And the Doodle Style (above) was perfect for my sister Jenny. She is in college, active in lots of groups and organizations, and is using her book to remember the things that she loves and stands for. Ingenious! The Doodle Style was perfect for her!

Finally, there tons of tags, flags, tabs, pockets, and other accessories you can purchase to go inside your Smash book. I purchased the above tags, flags, pockets, and the date stamper for my sisters and I to share. Most of our things will be coming from "junk" stuff we have lying around, but these are super cute to help organize your memories.

You can check out this blog: Smash Stories for ideas on how to use your Smash book!

PS: The book is very reasonable as well. I paid $14.99 per book at Archiver's, which is less than 12x12 albums and roughly the same price as regular non-designed journals. The acessories range between $1.99 and $5.99.
